The Motorola Razr flip phone brings back the company's iconic brand from the 2000s

Motorola, which invented the cellphone, saw Apple's iPhone and Samsung's Galaxy devices blow right past it. Today, only about 3% of the smartphones sold in the world come from Motorola. Now Motorola is hoping for a resurgence of its own, all thanks to its iconic Razr brand.

"This is a relaunch of the Razr brand,"  Motorola President Sergio Buniac said in Los Angeles conference.

The new Razr is a reboot of Motorola's popular flip phone from the early 2000s. In the US, it's only available on Verizon's network. Presales for the the $1,500 device.

When folded, the Razr's body measures 2.8 inches by 3.4 inches and sports a 2.7-inch Quick View display. When you open the device, the internal screen stretches to 6.2 inches, the same size as Samsung's Galaxy S9 Plus phone from last year.

For this year of 2020, Motorola likely will sell well under 1 million foldables. Next year, the number should rise to about 4 million, as Motorola officials estimated.

The company hopes that consumers will find the compact design attractive and more durable than the foldables from Samsung and Huawei.

Motorola's Razr comeback is still a work in progress.

Motorola's Razr Is Back This Week !! A Foldable Smartphone - By Alan Lee Luusama

Motorola Razr Is Back!!

Motorola is reaching into its vault to bring back its famous Razr cell phone, which was once the iconic design of cellular phones 15 years ago. The first sleek flip phone that debuted back in 2004, will be released as a smartphone with a foldable screen on February 2020.

The Motorola/Lenovo officials reports that the new Razr smartphones will be exclusively sold through Verizon, but you'll need to shell out US$1,500 to get it.
The Motorola Razr 2019 does an admirable job of reviving an iconic design in a new foldable form factor that defines what it means to stand out. The phone everyone had 15 years ago is now something to make you stand out. But you’re going to pay a price to be an early adopter of this unique foldable phone.

Definitely, the Motorola Razr 2019 is a cutting-edge foldable phone that’s also a throwback to one of the most iconic phone designs of all time: the original Razr V3 that launched in 2004.

Update: Pre-orders have been started this week. The prices is confirmed at US$1,499 in the US or for US$62/month on contract. It can be pre-ordered on January 26 to be shipped February 6.

It makes sense that Motorola would drape its most ambitious experiment in its most historically popular design: the company’s mid-range and budget smartphones are lauded for their utility and value, but not their flash.

The Moto Z4 looks largely unchanged from the original Moto Z, while the Moto G7 line is effectively a pared-down version of the Z line for the shallow-pocketed. Even the new Motorola One line barely strays from the rest of the company’s designs.

One Of The Best Portable Bluetooth Speakers 2020 For Any Budget - Motorola LifestStyle Sonic Sub Speaker Series By Alan Lee Luusama

A great Bluetooth speaker is a must-have piece of kit if you don't already have one in your audio-visual arsenal.

They're the best way to take your tunes with you to picnics, beaches and outdoor adventures, and some of the best portable speakers sound just as good as almost any wired speaker that you'd buy.

In 2020, the best Bluetooth speakers even come with voice assistants like Alexa and Google Assistant built-in, doubling as smart speakers that can be used to control your smart home gadgets.

These hard-working models are ideal for those of us can't afford a new speaker for each occasion; and the best portable speakers need to serenade us from the bedroom, to the beach, and everywhere in-between.

Motorola Lifestyle has a history of making excellent budget wireless speakers. While we weren’t entirely impressed with the Motorola Lifestyle Sonic Sub Series’s sounds, we couldn’t be too mad since the speaker was so affordable.

So what happens if you can stretch your budget? For around $30-$40, you get the Motorola Lifestyle Sonic Sub 240, an excellent waterproof Bluetooth speaker that can stand toe-to-toe with the competition.

The Motorola Lifestyle Sonic Sub 240 is an amazing value in the sub-$100 wireless speaker segment. Competitors like JBL, Sony, Anker give the Sonic Sub 240 a run for its money in terms of sound quality. We recommend the Sonic Sub 240 for anyone looking for a wireless speaker at affordable price.

One Of The Best True Wireless Earbuds in 2020 - Motorola 3-IN-1 Tech3 Earphones

Since the first true wireless earbuds were released in 2015 by Japanese company Onkyo, the technology of this new form earphone has evolved & improved in both audio quality and performance. During this coming year, true wireless technology might finally be ready for the big time.

In the past, true wireless earbuds were riddled with connectivity issues, poor audio quality, short battery life, and bulky designs. However, the best true wireless earbuds of 2020 will become the main stream of future earphone businesses.

The new Motorola Tech3 3-IN-1 earbuds, which will be relased on Feb 2020 by Motorola Lifestyle, are a great example of the growing accessibility of cord-free listening with choices.

Whether you’re hitting the gym or heading out of town on a business trip, Tech3Trix adapts to your needs every step of the way. Choose between the flexibility of True Wireless mode, Sport Loop mode (which provides a sleek neckband for additional stability), and the world’s first to market True Wireless headphone “direct plug-in” mode.

Do they sound as good as their more expensive rivals? Absolutely not, but they're filling a gap in the market for cheaper true wireless earbuds still in high sound quality from a trusted electronic brand.

“Motorola’s legacy of innovation and leadership in the audio space is second to none and at Motorola we are proud to unveil a new lineup of headphones that will bring studio-quality design, convenience, and engineering to consumers everywhere.” said Dino Lalvani, The Chairman of Audio Enhancements at Motorola Lifestyle. “Our new series of wireless headphones will allow end users to enjoy music exactly how it was intended to be heard by the artist – perfectly balanced and true-to-life.”
